The English Toy Spaniel is one of those dogs that should be more popular, but for whatever reason, isn't. I suppose that is a blessing in disguise. They are gentle, loving, sweet, without a mean bone in their bodies, well, at least GIO our resident ETS is a true love bug. We call them English Toy Spaniels, or ETS, in the US, their nickname is Charlie in the rest of the world.

• PRINCE CHARLES - Tricolor
• KING CHARLES - Black & Tan

AND SO IT SHALL BE King Charles II declared by royal decree that English Toy Spaniels be allowed anywhere in the United Kingdom; stores, workplaces, pubs, and cafes. This is still applicable TODAY!

TO THE BITTER END It is said that Mary, Queen of Scots and Charles I were both accompanied to their executions by their little spaniels. Since I found that tidbit on the internet it MUST be true!
